For the people saying they didn't do anything with the player models, that is true. But they also said they like the models that they have now (which I agree with, I think they should be down on the list of priorities as they are pretty good). I think that the mix and max thing with the jerseys was probably a bigger technical undertaking than people realize. hopefully in the process of doing that mix and matching, they also laid the groundwork for future enhancements in the jersey/player model department.

Also, I think braces and casts would be really cool to have. Not for this year though, because it will take some thought. I dont think you can just stick a knee brace on percy harvin without some changes in the way he moves. I wouldnt want a brace to be for purely astetic reasons, but with being able the equipment a player wears im sure tehres all sorts of balance issue with players taking the braces off and such.

And yes I think it would be freaking awesome to have a LB or lineman break his hand and be able to play the next week or so with one of those big *** casts. This would be a tough change though cuz it has to do with injuries, animations, etc...

Knee braces are pretty much strictly for lineman and qb's.

BTW Madden has it setup for that injury situation in that, if it does happen, the player will wear a cast the next few weeks.


Also to a poster earlier, the backplates are not allowed to be worn outside of the jersey anymore, back in the day you would see it but now it has to be tucked in, if its sticking out its due to a jersey getting caught or pulled on, it shouldn't be showing.
