IF..Sega makes a college game..would you buy it over NCAA?

NCAA 2004 I played the hell out of... 2005 was god awful...

I totally agree. NCAA is a great game as is. I think the graphics are beyond dated and are the most apparent display of EA's apathy for the series which seems to get peripheral upgrades and roster updates every year.

But college football is a tricky beast. I'm not entirely sure anyone could hit it on the head on their first shot.

I love the NCAA franchise as a whole, and played the hell out of the game last year, but the 2005 version IMO was a huge step backwards. I liked the IDEA behind all of the moves they made this year with the game, but the implementation was absolutely horrendous if you ask me.

As a result I am actually unlikely to buy another EA NCAA Football game until there is an entirely new game (engine, everything). I don't expect that until the next gen consoles. So if TT/VC came out with a College game I would be much more likely to try that this year.

That said, I agree that the two games (college and pro) are very different, and I'm not so sure that the first year of a TT/VC college game would be any good. In all likelyhood I'll be staying away from college titles this year.
