Do you have the link to that interview by any chance?

Re: How lame.

If you want to play this mode realistic, you can. It's up to you. When I play it, I am not gonna go out there and try to score nine TD's a game and give my running back 50 attempts. No way....Also, I am not trying to win the heisman in his first year anyway. The dude will be a freshman and if he does win it, it will be within my team concept. He has 3 to 4 years to win it provided he doesn't decide to leave early before he does it. I bet that you will be able to import your player into MAddens's superstar mode and if so, that might be straight as you would be able to control the dude on two levels for his who career. The mode is what you make it. basically...But that's why EA gave you options. So, if you don't want to play Chase for the Heisman, you don't have to...

I agree with what you said. The game is gonna be what you make of it. Just like when you play Dynasty mode or even online... you can play a realistic sim-type game or you can play the arcadish, money-play type game. I, for one, am looking forward to playing this "role play" feature. Of course, the re-playability of the RFTH is gonna depend on how well EA has made and implemented the feature. Like Tarheel said, the bottom line is that you don't have to play this feature if you don't want to.

I liked that interview too, but it seems like every year they say they've addressed some of these things, and every year it turns out they haven't. I tend to not trust their interviews anymore.

I applaud you my man. Everyone talks about how lame things are that they can exploit, well maybe don't exploit them, try to use some da*** common sense. LOL.
