Icon5 impact players on defense

we know that impact players get "in the zone" but what happens on the defensive side of the ball? Say im my mlb is the impact player on defense, when he gets in the zone does that mean he'll start to dominate the opposing teams offense ex: big tackling #s, maybe a few tipped passes, an int, forced fumbles, sacks, tackles for losses. thats what im anxious to see when the game comes out. its easy to have impact players take over on offense, but i would be impressed if it worked equally well for defensive studs too.

as LBzrule used to say regarding ESPN NFL 2K series...RARELY in a college or pro football game do you get the feeling that a DEFENSIVE player can take over.

Most of the time...video games concentrate on the offensive side of the ball,etc...probably because it appeals to the casual gamer who can't really appreciate a nice deflection, tackle, etc.

I would love for EA to actually make us believe that if you have an all world Defensive End or Middle LB they can dominate the opposing line of scrimmage and take over a game so to speak.

Here is to hoping it happens.
