Potential Problems

Please post any potential problems or glitches you've noticed while watching the recently realeased videos on IGN.

One caveat: Please don't post your overall impressions here. There's already a thread for that.

Re: Potential Problems

They're only videos...you can't really tell what is fully happening until you're playing and see what the cpu does/doesnt do when you press a certain button or something.

I disagree. First, they said "potential problems" and the videos are easily capable of showing problems.

Re: Potential Problems

To start us off, 2 things I noticed while watching the Masterbit Theatre video of LSU vs. USC:
  1. During USC's last posession, WR #2 catches the ball for a first down and is tackled in the field of play. Yet the clock is running in the playcall screen even though USC has picked its play. If this happens during 2-player games, the team on defense can run the clock down as many seconds as allowed (8 sec. after the O picks its play, I think) and milk the clock unfairly. This problem was NOT in previous years' versions, and would drastically impact the quality of the game.
  2. Nessler keeps referring to LSU FS Laron Landry as an impact corner. I hope the term "impact corner" isn't used globally to refer to all DB's.
Fire away your own similar observations, or respond to the two above.

Bingo. Check out my post above regarding the USC/LSU video. Not all potential problems are gamplay related.

Re: Potential Problems

The biggest potential problem is me going crazy waiting for July 12th.

Don't be so ageist.

Actually, a 6th-grade teacher. Having to deal with crap like this all year makes the release date of NCAA--just weeks after school lets out--so much sweeter.
