Question about Recruiting?

Now that they have the all season long recruiting, is there a possibility to still create recruits? I know this won't stop me from buying it, let alone being mad about it, but it is something that I would like to see in the game again. I just don't know how it would work since last year you could only create recruits right before recruiting started. If anyone could shed some light on this please let me know.

I would assume so, as I think the in season recruiting probably doesn't kick in till after the first season.

I have no idea, but I'd have to presume that you would either create recruits at the very beginning of the year, or that you just can't recruit them in-season. I really can not see them taking out the CAR feature unless they let you edit the names of recruits (which IMO, is a much better idea).

I tried creating Brady Quinn for ND 2 years ago. His progression was like one point per year. Since then I assume there's some code in the game that ******s the progression of any created player. It would be nice if there were a Potential category in the Edit Ratings screen.

Yeah and how they limit you to 95 on certain attributes when using CAP in dynasty is also lame.

I think that would defeat the whole point of IN-SEASON recruiting.

They finally fixed that in 2005.

Yeah, I assume with the in-season progression that would be much less of an issue. Never created players last year, though.
