Yea thats what I ment to say, that the CPU probably registers a big hit and that is the animation where the player just falls forward.

The same thing happened last year when you used burst to bull-rush the OL. The guy just fell over unless you timed it perfectly. Why, you ask?

Probably because if you don't time it right, the dude is off-balance, and the OL simply has to slide back and let your man topple over. Happens in real life, you know.

Please don't apologize for EA. The "it happens in real life" excuse can be used to gloss over just about any error made in instituting a gameply mechanic. I doubt that "in real life" many O Linemen step backwards in the hopes that a D lineman will just fall flat on his face. This is football, not judo or sumo wrestling.

The bull rush move is unreliable, point blank.

Re: Bull Rush

I guess I'm lucky, because I haven't had a problem of my guy falling over. And I know I SUCK at this game.

Works for me, gotta time it right. I have seen d-linemen fall on their face when trying to bullrush a back pedaling linemen. All the line has to do is start pushing down on you when your momentum is going like that.
