I was released by my team. If I choose to retire, can I continue my current dynasty with another coach or will I have to start a new dynasty?

Try to create a new coach before you retire your current coach. It should be possible. I added a user controlled, created coach in year 2 of my dynasty. Let me know if it works for you.

Can't you come out of retirement and take a job offer. Unless you don't want to do that.

Create a new coach. I always do in case my coach gets fired and I want to continue at that school. This is best for sim dynasties. Notre Dame (Yr1) sim and ND went 7-5 , fired Charlie Weis, so to keep it going I had to accept the ND job with a created coach.

As stated above, you can create a new coach to continue with. If you retire, EA takes you at your word, not like Jordan, Phil Jackson, or Roger Clements (who thankfully came out of retirement for my Astros)...once you retire that's it. You can always try to grab a job at a lower tier school. If you get fired from a 3* program, all you can get are jobs with 1* & 2* programs.
