Juke ?...

Is there a way to do the subtle juke like in previous versions...? I can't seem to do the quick cut, but always the hard juke. Any insight would be great, Bo

I believe the subtle juke is only with low agility players, and the hard juke with agile players, so pretty much every running back has only the harder juke.

This is too bad if true because the subtle juke was often much more effective than the hard one.

Negative...I have not been able to do the subtle juke (2005 controls), however the computer will at times do it for me not sure if it is only during "in zone" times or not.

I have done the subtle juke with the new '06 controls, but it doesn't happen all of the time. It seems like when I try to do it it doesn't work, but when I don't want to do it, it happens.....

To me that this has been a huge deal... Many situations call for the subtle juke, as in when you are trying to juke through a small opening in the defense. The "hard" juke will juke you right back into the defender. Another advantage of the subtle juke is that you are still advancing upfield and your momentum doesn't temporary stop going forward as it does with the hard juke. I used the subtle juke at least 80% of the time in last year's version ... I am very dissapointed that this was left out.

Actually, you can pull off the little juke, but it is difficult...

Head to practice mode without the defense turned on. Hand the ball off to your RB. Practice juking with the right stick, but barely pressing it to the left or to the right.

Even with practice, it isn't perfect, but you will be able to get it more times than not once you get the feel for it.
