In my dynasty I wanted to give a certain number to one of my best players at a certain position like how michigan gives #1 to (?) its best senior wide receiver. So if you have any suggestions on what number, position, and year the player is in (ie. junior, senior) please post. Also post what numbers you give to players in your dynasty if you do.

#12's my big number. Cause at my high school we have an award where for the Thanksgiving rivalry game, someone gets to wear the #12 jersey, as in the 12th man award type thing.

You're regular season is still going on at Thanksgiving?? That's impressive, our regular season ends right at the begining of November.

yeah, that's the final game. We live in Mass so we've had quite a few snow-bowls which are incredibly fun to be a fan at. I don't play, but they announce the 12th man at the pep-rally and it's just an honor, so i've implemented it into my dynasties.

With my dynasty I have a heratige/pride thing with a few numbers for certian positions. I give them out to either the best player at the position or a prize recruit. (like how Va. Tech promised Kevin Jones he could wear Mike Vick's 7) Here is my breakdown:
QB 17
RB 32
WR 9 (I loved Peter Warrick @ FSU)
OL 74
DL 93
LB 6
DB 2 (It was Deion Sanders' number at FSU)

It's fun and it make me feel like I can reward my players. Also I don't always give the nubers out the have to be earned as well as being "promised" to recruits.

Didn't clemson a few years ago give the #s according to 40 times.

I thought about this the other day...I think it would be pretty cool I think I'll start doing this when all of the 2005 players are gone, but I'm only in year 2. I'll probably give the senior quarterback number 16.

Same here in CT. We have Thanksgiving day rivals all over the state.
