Have you ever considered that maybe you lose the games because you believe after the first quarter you are doomed to a loss, and maybe you win because after you first series you feel you will win?

Not at all...some games my players will play nearly perfect, others they will just suck. I know this happens in real life, but not to this extent. If I'm ranked #40, I almost have a better chance winning of a huge upset, than beating a #70 ranked team.

I felt this way the first few games I played too, then I found the right slider settings. I use Jistic's AA sliders, with some very minor tweaking to fit my play style. Now I never feel "cheated" or that the games are in any way "predetermined." There are games that are back and forth the entire first half, and then I start to pull away in the second. There are games that are neck and neck the entire way. There are games that I've dominated the entire time and blown them out. I've played games where I hung around awhile but simply got beaten in the end (lost by 21 points to Texas in my first season).

I will say that I've found that you have to play conservative defense on this game though (at least on AA difficulty). Blitzing a bunch of guys usually hurts you more than helps. One on one coverage is dangerous. I run a LOT of 2-deep coverage sets and sometimes blitz my impact LB, but only VERY rarely blitz more than one man. The computer is simply very good at finding holes in your defense and taking advantage of them, as it should.
