The Mysterious Pushing Animation!!???

hey everyone...this is for XBox version of NCAA 2006. has anyone seen the mysterious "pushing" animation on defense?? i usually see it mostly during a kick return. i will kick the ball, and when my players are racing down the field, which ever one i have lit up has a "pushing" animation...it looks like the player is trying to "push" a player out of bounds. anyone ever seen this???? it is freakin strange....it doesn't happen all the time but enough for me to say "WTF???" it just happened in a game where i was on D, the opposing team made a connecting pass, and as soon as i lit up my CB, he started making the lunging "pushing" animation...and kept doing it every two yards...even at empty air. WTF????? it is making me hate this game even more...

Yeah, I had that too. It's really annoying, but I believe it just means that your Analog Sticks aren't centered. Try pausing the game and rolling the thumbsticks around in 360's forward and backward. It should fix the problem. I believe the animation you are seeing, is the Big Hit animation.

thanks my man...i will try your suggestion. much appreciated. it is tough enough already to love this game, believe me. but when i started seein this animation glitch, i almost threw the game from here to eternity. i'll give the ole analog sticks a 360 and gte back to ya...thanks again bra.

Actually I think its the "big hit" animation. I've seen it alot. Whenever the person doing that animation hits the person with the ball, its a "big hit". The only problem is that players go for the "big hit" instead of going for the regular tackle.
