help with inseason recruiting

I have just begun a dynasty and am confused with in season recruitng. I have targeted the atheltes I want to recruit but can not figure out how to invite them to a game.

Can anyone please give me the "manual" on how inseason recruiting works?

Right now your team is ranked anywhere from one to eight on the recruits' list. As the season goes on the recruits will start to eliminate teams from their list. First cutting the list from 8 to 5 then cutting it from 5 to 3. Once a player has cut his list to 3 teams You can then invite him to one of your remaining home games if you made his final 3.

I have had some recruits come to "tour the campus" even after my regular season is over. So it does not necessarily have to be a home game.

It should also be noted that you can't use a 'Pitch' until the week the recruit is scheduled for his official visit.

Well they can't come during a week where you're away (because you're not there lol). You can invite them to a home game or during a bye week, that's it.

I think the point there was that they do visit, though they are termed "unofficial visits". Official visits are where you can pitch you program.
