Help me decide....

I want to get a PS3 or a 360 can someone help?
so basically getting a 360 is the same as a PS3 but cheaper?
also, why should I get a 360 with all the bonus stuff rather than the core system?

No one really knows, and no one will know until Sony actually makes a PS3 and somebody gets to play with it.

Not to start a flame war, but most reports (gamespot, cnet, etc.) have already reported the 360 will be the more "powerful" system. It won't be a huge difference. Microsoft spent more $ on components where Sony is pouring most of their $ in the blu-ray drive.

Well i am not going to comment on which system will be better that the other.

Since all you play is Madden/NCAA I am going to think the only difference will be online. I suspect xboxLIVE will beat anything Sony is going to toss out. But we never know. I also think Online gaming is a major focus for M$.

I have to agree with you. The only reason why I may hold out for the PS3 is because of the MLB series by SCEA. I want to have more choices for a baseball game. But if you don't play the baseball titles than I would get a 360.

Considering the differences in sports gaming won't be major like other genres which will take more advantage of each systems strengths and weaknesses and also considering there probably won't be any NCAA 07 or Madden 07 on the PS3 (although I could see madden making it as a direct port) I would definitely go with getting the Xbox 360 now instead of waiting till much later to play basically what the 360 crowd will be playing in a couple months. I mean we know from past history EA will not ramp up their PS3 sports titles to be that much different than 360 titles, they will be nearly identical as history has shown us.

And as has been said, online the Xbox 360 is definitely the way to go.

so should I get the core system or the whole thing...i dont normally play online at all...so prolly just the core huh?
