Re: It's that time of year again

I generally like to start with building processes - I might continue with Rice and put the option back in, or I've always been a fan of Buffalo for some reason (probably from an old NCAA) game. Utah may be where I go as well. It is so difficult for me to decide generally until I have the game in front of me, and then even after that I pick teams 4 times.

Re: It's that time of year again

""Outlined against a blue-gray October sky, the Four Horsemen rode again. In dramatic lore they are known as Famine, Pestilence, Destruction and Death. These are only aliases. Their real names are: Stuhldreher, Miller, Crowley and Layden. They formed the crest of the South Bend cyclone before which another fighting Army team was swept over the precipice at the Polo Grounds this afternoon as 55,000 spectators peered down upon the bewildering panorama spread out on the green plain below".

Grantland Rice, October 19, 1924

Then Central Michigan.

Georgia, Florida State, or Oklahoma.

Haven't decided yet... I have ties to all 3.

I always do an Ohio State dynasty and then a MAC school dynasty, this year will be Akron or N. Illinois

Re: It's that time of year again

Right now I'm leaning towards starting with Michigan State, then following wherever my career leads me. MSU was my favorite team I played as in 2006.

I'll likely do another one with Miami so that I'm not tempted to leave and rebuild them if they fall off. I always go there to rebuild them and end up not wanting to leave.

Re: It's that time of year again

SDSU: my alma mater - too bad most of the schools in my conference will have generic stadiums.

I'll usually run 4+ year dynasty with different teams. I like to play in each conference. I normally play as Penn State in Big Ten, Colorado in Big 12, Cal or Washington in PAC-10, Georgia in SEC, NC State in ACC.

I also like to build up other mid-major programs, but seeing that many of these schools will have generic stadiums (in 360) this year, I might not do this this year.

About one more month fellas!

I wish i could use Morehead State, my alma mater, in the game but that won't happen till they put all of 1-AA in the game since the pioneer league is non-scholarship.
