XBox 360: Dynasty Question

I think this has been discussed in other threads but for clarification:

1. Is it possible for lower tier teams to be invited to the bigger conferences.

2. If coaching at lower tier schools, is it possible to to get job offers to BCS schools?

Any clarification on these issues would be greatly appreciated.

I've just simmed a 12-user dynasty, starting with all prestige 1 teams. After year 1, the Navy coach went to Virginia, the WMU coach to Purdue. Ball State was dropped from the MAC, in favor of Navy.

Looks like the same coach advancement algorithm as with the current gen engine.

Thats good news....I was thinking of playing with a lower tier team but I didnt want to do that if their was not chance to move up! Thats really encouraging to hear.

Actually, unless Navy/BSU are CPU controlled teams, this could be horrible news. If CPU teams can change conferances, in 10 years the PAC 10 could be Fresno, Hawaii, SJSU, SDSU, Utah, Idaho, Boise, Arizona, USC, and Cal.

No, Navy and Ball State were both user teams, 2 of the 12-team dynasty. I have never seen a conference change where one of the two teams were not user teams.
