EA usually lets us turn their stupid "new" features off if we don't like them and well, I don't like momentum because it is so poorly done. The first team to score has ALL the momentum, that's stupid, I'm sorry.

Thats realistic if you ask me. Most of the time the first to draw blood will be the most aggressive and will have the momentum

But momentum is fleeting. If you score early or make a big play, that big mo lift only lasts so long and fades after time if you don't make another big play or score again.

Scoring first and being more aggressive has more to do with the team's mental state than momentum. Scoring early and getting that lead gives a team confidence. That is different than the Big Mo.

Yes...but it's irrelevant as another poster noted, it's been in the games for a long time, just that now we have a meter displaying it.

Scoring first starts momentum and puts the pressure on the other team to respond. If you score, than get a turnover it would only make sense to have the bar filled 4/5 in your favor. I have not seen any issues yet with the meter.

What are those helmets slamming into each other after every play about? Momentum??

Also, I noticed the momentum bar has a +# to it.

When the momenum bar is full, is it like a arcade fighting game where you press a button and you get like 100x the power in one of your players. I know it isn't but thats what it feels like.

I dont think Ive ever noticed a meter. Maybe I'll have to look harder.
