Re: In-Season Recruiting: Who did you get to committ?

Two games to go in the 2nd year and I got 1 5* CB, and three 4* other guys. The others are a MLB, DT, and another corner. My focus is on defense obviously. I'll be looking to get more good defensive players in off-season recruiting. Only think i'll be looking for on offense is a stud QB and RB. I'm starting 3 freshmen on my offensive line, all 4* guys, and they should be great going into their sophmore years. Offense was the focus in year 1 of recruiting.

Following the NC State game (a tight 34-31 win) I added a four-star free safety, I have a five-star receiver and a four-star tight end coming into visit, and I'm still pursuing two four-star cornerbacks.

How many points do yall spend on your five stars in order to keep em from 8-5 and then 5-3. And do you put points on everyone or just a few select recruits

during in-season recruiting, I start off targeting about 12 guys, then narrow it down the next week based on where I am on their list. If I'm not even in their top 5, I just use their points on someone else who has me in their top 3 or 5. You won't land many guys during in-season so it's the best time to recruit nationally and get 4 and 5 star guys.
