How do bring down f'in passing icons???

In past years (PS2) it was like L2 or something. Have a QB that can scramble, but cant bring down passing icons to run at full potential.
Any help?

It was like that in NCAA 2006 as well. There is no need to bring down the icons, just scramble.

That's not exactly true. You can't stiff-arm, cover the ball, spin or juke with the icons up. I'm not losing any games over it, but I've definately missed out on a first down or two because the only running tool I had was speed burst.

Same with me. Except you do have the "small jukes" I've noticed.

I tend to run around the outside with my mobile quarterback and I go to switch ball-hand and I end up throwing up a random high lobbing pass accross the field.

Once you pass the line of scrimmage you should be able to juke, spin.

Ya, that's great for once you pass the LOS.

But when you are in the backfield it's a no-go, bud.
