As for your comment on jts, you're saying on AA you don't do any fake snaps or wait for the center to point out assignments, and the CPU doesn't abuse your OL? I know in my first dynasty game as Ohio St. vs NIU my OL was routinely getting steamrolled until I started to wait for my center to point out assignments. But I'm impatient & hate having to wait -- especially if I take a little longer to pick a play & then the play clock nearly expires while I have to wait. I'm also concerned about the impact of having to wait when running a hurry-up offense. Hopefully the occasional fake snap will help, though I haven't tried that yet.
I don't wait for the center to point out assignments but I do vary my snap count and fake snap to avoid the CPU abusing it on AA. I don't have a problem with the CPU using it on AA when I do that. They do run over my OL once in awhile but I can live with that.

The FG kicking thing does suck because you have to game plan to try to keep them out of FG range because you know they are automatic when they go for it. You can try my solution of switching the difficulty to JV at the play call screen (before you call a play), set the CPU accuracy to 0 and FG length to 90. They only make 90% of the kicks then, actually missing left or right.

Re: Biggest Beefs Current Gen

Overall this game is great and I am playing it just as much now as I did the day I picked it up.

I voted for the momentum which is pisses me off sometimes. The biggest problem I have with it is that once I have the momentum and the lead I end up switching the controller to let the computer play because it is boring. I get a little bit pissed when the computer has all the momentum and my O line all of a sudden forget how to block and my receivers drop evey ball unless they are a impact player.

The CPU never misses field goals is just beyond rediculous but there isn't much else to say about it. I am guessing I have played close to or more than 70 games and the only misses I have seen are the ones I block.

One small thing I would liek to see is harder recruiting process like the 360 owners report. I get bored with having the best recruits and house rules. Just make it harder. Add a freaking slider.

I havent had a big problem with fumbles.

JTS doesn't bother me either because I don't control the DLine, I stick to the MLB 98% of the time. I haven't really had a problem with CPU JTS either as long as I mix up snap counts.

THe biggest thing is Ea needs to add sliders. SLiders sliders sliders.....

Edit: One thing I forgot that pisses me off in Sub in/out. I am tired of having to change up who plays before. Can we get some fatigue........?

Re: Biggest Beefs Current Gen

CPU Field Goal kicking barely edge out Jump the Snap for me. Although seeing a 72 OVR DE flatten my All Universe 99 RT is quite annoying, knowing that once the CPU gets within my 30 yard line, barring a turnover, its an automatic 3pts is just too much. I've played about 70 games and the CPU has been perfect on FG's attempts. None were even close to missing.

Jump the snap, momentum, fumbles are all design decisions.(Jump the snap is the only one I have issues with) The FG's have to be a mistake.

I haven't played the 360 version of NCAA so I can't really speak about it, but I know I'll have a 360 by the time next years version comes out, and I would hope that the team that worked on the current gen version gets promoted, because they did a top notch job considering the game engine limitations.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Re: Biggest Beefs Current Gen

I'd have to say momentum. I don't mind the ratings boost it gives the team with momentum, but I believe it is momentum that is causing too many turnovers (not just fumbles). I have had several games with too many INTs. (to clarify, my defense is getting the INTs by both CPU an USER picks). I have had several games with turnover totals between 8-12 by both teams combined. That is way too much IMO. Who knows, it may not even be momentum... but I know this turnover problem was not in last years version, or the year before that, etc.

Re: Biggest Beefs Current Gen

Didn't see my biggest gripe so I will just try and explain it in this post.

It seems to me that tough games aren't determined by whoever you are playing, but more determined by when the cpu thinks you should have a tough game. I have had a problem with this on every dynasty I have played this year. As FSU, I can walk all over Miami and Florida, but struggle against Troy and wake forest. As Northern Illinios i completely dominated ohio state, yet i barely scraped by buffalo, La tech, and ohio. It seems that just on random games, generally against bad opponents, everything that can go wrong does go wrong. Every play that goes 20 or more yards get's called for holding, my qb with 90 accuracy throws the ball directly to defenders, I fumble every time I get into the redzone (I've had this happen twice where I actually did all jokes aside fumble on the first redzone position every time i got there), every 3 running plays my entire offensive line gets tossed on the ground and it's an automatic 3 yard loss. Consequently everything goes right for the cpu. I call a blitz to the inside they run a toss play, on third and long I call cover 3 and they run a screen where all my men get blocked perfectly, they run a play action and my cornerback hauls *** into there backfield leaving the reciever wide open, on 3rd and short they just barely get enough EVERY TIME. Whatever needs to happen to make the cpu score happens and whatever needs to happen to keep me from scoring happens. I understand teams have good and bad games, but how can my team always perform badly against an opponent they should beat. Now whenever I select a powerhouse team and have to play troy, I'm shaking in my boots

I kno what you mean... It doesnt really happen that often to me but I can tell from the beginning of the game whether or not the CPU wants this to be a tough game no matter who I'm playing... but I cant get mad at that because sometimes some teams will bring it and others wont....
I guess they were trying to establish the upset factor...
But if your the one getting upset then its messed up lol

Re: Biggest Beefs Current Gen

What I can't understand for the life of me is why the hell EA didn't include a slider for JTS effectiveness, or for FUMBLES for christs sake. Oh wait, if they did that the slider probably wouldn't work just like the CPU KAC slider.

Total pathetic fugging joke.

One of the many reasons I filed yet another complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

EA sucks cawk.
