Question about NCAA 2006

Yes I'm cheap so I'm going to get a used copy of '06.

Can you create a IAA team, play a few IAA seasons with a created coach, and then either:

a) Have your school be admitted to IA
b) Get a job with a IA team

You can't play IAA seasons. You can only take IAA teams and replace IA teams with them. You could always replace a whole conference with IAA teams and play there for a while. You could even schedule only IAA schools for your non-conference schedule so that you only play IAA schools. You could both get offers from better schools or receive an invite to move your school to another conference. Bear in mind though that this will not be IAA seasons and there will be no playoffs.

no you have to start in I-a and play with the big boys, but if you do well, you can get offers to coach elsewhere
