X-box version?

I know that a ps2 version of ncaa 2008 is being released, but I've heard nothing of an xbox one. Does anybody know if an xbox version is going to be made?

yes there will be an Xbox version. And like Madden and FIFA, this will be the last installment that EA puts on the Xbox.

I wouldn't expect much more than a roster update of '07 though.

I'm not sure about that. They already let fans vote as to what feature they want added to current gen (in games saves, medical redshirt, etc.) and I think they may even do one more year yet on current gen (PS2 at least) if the next gen sales are still slow. Its also not too difficult to tweak things when the engine is this old and you are that familiar with the hardware. They won't change the graphics engine so I'm sure we'll see some tweaks in the gameplay. They changed quite a bit from '06 to '07 (some for the bad) and I expect some nice changes this time around.

While the majority of guys on OS will go next gen, I bet current gen sales still beat next gen sales this year for both Madden and NCAA which will prompt EA to go one more year. Until the next gen hardware gets cheaper, it won't get the general consumer which is still buying a ton of cheap PS2s.

they've been using basically the same game for PS2 and Xbox for awhile now. So it won't be hard to do the same again this year. I don't expect a whole new game. I expect updated rosters, more dynasty detail and tighter tweaks all the way around.

I'm just glad ther eis now a link to pre-order on eastore.com, $39.95 too!
