Roster Limits

I don't know what the roster limit was for the 360 version last year.

360 roster limit > PS2 Roster limit?

Are they increasing the roster limit for this year?

It was 70 last year. Wasnt it 70 on PS2 also? I hope they do increase it to 85 though.

Yes, it was 70 on the PS2.

the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions should now be 85...but lazy EA prob wont do it.

I wish they'd go to 85. I always feel like my team lacks proper depth without those additional 15 spots. Especially when I sub in all 2nd teamers and see DTs, TEs, and FBs playing on the OL and my starting QB at SS. Also, it needs to be easier to recruit defensive tackles.

It would also enable the ability to fill in the players that EA left out.

Call me crazy, but I actually miss the days of the 55-man roster. Not as realistic, I know, but it was harder to build a powerhouse and depth was more important since you weren't four-deep at every position. Was also faster to edit rosters then too.

Just imagine how stacked your roster would be if they let you go to 85. It hurts your opponents if you recruit all kinds of talent and have them never play. Recruiting was supposed to be harder on the 360 so maybe that's the best solution when going to 85 man rosters. 70 is still pretty good though.
