Like moving your starting WR to the slot for a specific formation from the play call screen?

That was there last year.

More like permanently playing your backup pass rushing DE and replacing your starting run stopping DE in the Dime package. Not just for one play. In current gen, there was depth chart subs and formation subs. I didnt see formation subs in last years 360 game.

If that was left out that would be a bummer. I like to keep my HBs fresh by rotating them fairly frequently. That's going to be quite cumbersome to pause and go into the depth chart to swap them back several times a game.

I was actually hoping for more quick sub options this year.

i guess i am just misunderstanding you, because what i would call 'formation subs' were in last years game...

you just had to like hold the left trigger or something before actually choosing the formation, and it let you change players permentantly for that formation until you changed it back

As much as I like seeing actual gameplay, it's a little frustrating to see the game played that badly.

i KNOW i could do this in last years 360 version. I did it last week.
