Lester was third in touchdowns scored last year in the SEC

Tate was a true freshman who took carries away from both Lester and Kenny Irons (also owns most of the Maryland high school rushing records)

Fannin is a redshirt freshman who ran for over 200 yards against the first team D in the final scrimmage of the spring.

Tristian Davis has played one game as tailback in his college career. He had 162 rushing yards on 8 carries verses Kentucky. He is also one of the top kickoff returners coming back this year in CFB.

BGE is a good back.

But IMO, is fighting for practice squad time at Auburn.

EDIT:

NOT TAKING THIS OFF TOPIC

just making a point to this poster.

We obviously differ on the opinion of BGE.

Wont tank this thread any further

BGE is a disposable stat back. He's the guy who gets enough carries to have respectable stats and is only remotely known because of a lack of talent returning for other teams. They crop up every few years.

As mentioned in the Lindy's top positions threads, this year makes last year's returning players look amazing. I mean, in the SEC this year, I think individually, 2004 Auburn and UGA, 2003 LSU, and 2001 Florida each had more talent than the entire First team All SEC. I mean, there's DMac, and that's about it. And the other conferences aren't any better, except for the Big East.

I think it'll even out by the end of the year, but going into the year, the All American team probably wouldn't even be a top 5 team in 2003.

To be honest, the only game i have watched of BGE, he had 13 carries for 44 yards, and its not like he was the backup...

he was the starter.

So I dont exactly have a high opinion of him, or any player from Ole Miss for that matter.
