What are the differences between Current and Next Gen?

The QB-evade animations from current-gen are NOT in next-gen, but in all honesty, they were not really missed that much. Seemed more like a CG gimmick thrown in to keep the ability to say that it has something "new" really...

Other than the fact that looking at NG and then looking at CG made my eyes hurt, I think the NG game has everything the CG has - including player control to match, which was a very big gripe to a lot of NG purchasers last year...the best current gen impressions are over at utopia (I think it is www.collegestrategies.com?) Those guys (cdj and rhombic21) were madmen on capturing information about CG at the Community Day - just about everyone else was focused on NG...

Yeah, going from NG to CG was absolutely brutal.

Current Gen is a black and white 19 inch Zenith TV, Next Gen is a Samsung 50 Inch Plasma.

Current Gen is Star Jones, Next Gen is Beyonce.

Current Gen is Ryan Leaf, Next Gen is Tom Brady.

Current Gen is a Ford Taurus, Next Gen is a Bentley Coupe.

Current Gen is....ah, you get my point.

The power of the next-gen consoles has finally allowed us to eliminate those annoying little guys in pinstripes...



Honestly, I think the features are pretty similar with the exception of being able to capture videos and pics in the 360 and PS3 versions. Also, you have the obvious differences of graphics, animations, etc. I'd say next-gen is probably going to be the way to go this year...

You guys and the Gen Wars. LOL. I played and enjoyed NCAA 07 on the PS2 much more than the 360 version last year. My two main gripes with the 360 version were gameplay (more responsive on PS2 than 360), and the depth of the franchise mode (no comparison last year PS2/XBOX > 360). However, this year looks like the 360/PS3 version has made big strides in both departments; enough for me to bypass the PS2 version all together.

Hehehe, I love how the NG guys have to bash on the CG guys. Shouldn't the game speak for itself? It's sad that it doesn't.

Hey atleast you can play co-op with 4-8 guys on current gen.
