For Rudy's sake I hope it is next gen only so he will actually step away from the Commodore 64 and buy a 360.

Wow...I'm getting pretty amped about this game. It seems like all the new features are gameplay improvements and not fluff features.

Re: SportsGamer.com: NCAA Football 08 Producer Interview

The kicking info is some excellent newness. I like the part about tuning the sliders to work more effectively. If that applies for the other sliders as well then offline players can do a lot to create their own gameplay Nirvana.

This is the kind of thing that we wouldn't hear about unless someone specifically asked about it. Tuning sliders is not something that developers necessarily go out of their way to mention. Yes it would be best if things were "realistic" out of the box, but fully functioning sliders can make up for a multitude of sins.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Are there any new camera angles in the game?

Our replay cameras are all new this year. Through our partnership with ESPN we were able to get their blueprint for how they position their camera for games. All replays are displayed from camera angles that you would see in an actual game. In addition to this, you can choose any of these camera angles when viewing highlights to save.
have we seen these in any videos? I think what I've seen so far was in 2007.

Yeah there are like 5 or 6 different camera angles for replays that are a couple of vids around the net of this to.

Are clear visors in the game?

Clear visors did not make it into the game this year.
When I read this, I swear to god I thought I was gonna read a follow-up question: 'Why the hell not?'

Quote:
Will Rivalry Games be presented differently from regular games?

As a part of our new Shrine feature, we have implemented trophies into the game this year. With that you will now be able to win rivalry trophies that will be displayed in your shrine. Each trophy can be viewed in 3D and there will be accompanying audio from Chris Fowler giving the background history behind each trophy.
I can just imagine what was going through this guy's mind: 'Um, let's see ... the answer is No, not one thing will be any different. But I don't want to say that. So I guess I say some stuff about trophies instead.'

What a tool.
