in comparison to the manual drop back. Being a dynasty/franchise guy, I really enjoyed this in 2k5 and Madden/NCAA 2007, it just makes everything look so realistic. The manual drop looks really slow in the all the videos. I think I've only seen a couple 2008 videos with the auto drop being used by the cpu, but i see it every week when I play Madden or NCAA 2007, its not even close to how much more smoother it looks.

I use the auto drop back as well. I don't know why anyone in the videos doesn't use it. I think it works much better than the manual drop back. Manually its way to stiff and slow even with a mobile QB. I wish it was like the current gen manual drop. Works way better.

yeah, ive been waiting for those who have been playing to use it in madden and ncaa. In using this method, you'll see the qb's take a 3 step drop on quick slants and a 5 step drop on deeper passing plays.

I never used the auto drop back. I might try that out when I get the game.

I wish EA would implement sprint out pass plays, they may not be used much in the Pro's, but they are an integral part of college ball. One thing 2K did very well was the sprint out of the pocket animation. I remember that if you messed with the stick while the QB was rolling out it would jack up the entire play.

Yeah, auto drop back has always looked smoother, especially because of the back foot planting during the last step.

I'd love it if they added the auto roll out animation to NCAA and Madden. It would make they roll-out plays look very smooth.

I never have either, what keeps the computer from just throwing the ball for you?
