What is supersim mode?

I'm pretty sure I heard it was just for Next Gen, but maybe I'm mistaken.

Supersim is on all 4 versions of the game (PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360).

You can sim forward in the game - one play, one quarter, to the end of the game (whatever you choose iirc). No in game saves but you can finish a blowout real quick if you want.

I wonder with the SuperSim mode if you sim 1 quarter, does it sim for the set quarter length of your game. I know most of us play 7-9 min quarters so will it sim based on that length rather than 15 min.

It would seem that if it sim based on the User Qtr length then the number of plays would be lower then if we played it out. It still is a nice feature regardless.

That would make life so much easier when its an easy blowout against some homely "1AA" opponent.
