So guys, after checking various websites for info on the game, my understanding is that alt unis will not be in the initial release of the game. Any thoughts on this?

microsoft is and has been releasing incomplete games and making the customer continue to pay while releasing the rest in little bits.

horrible idea and even worse people don't seem to mind it.

So this is why we haven't seen or heard about the PS3 version, we're getting alternate unis! EA just didn't want to piss of the 360 folk. One can dream right?

Oh, and for the record, I think its a giant load of crap that the unis are not included. I won't purchase any in some kind micro transaction just because this type of thing pisses me off to no end.

I have to agree with you on that. My only thought is that maybe EA wants to make sure that they put the alts in that are actually used this year. Alts change all the time and I guess with release of the game so far in advance of the season, it makes things difficult.

Thanks for the info, just made my decision a lot easier. I was thinking of picking up a 360 just for this game, but now I'll wait and get a ps3. Long term I think Sony will win this war, I just dont see how MS can win with every 3rd 360 breaking.

The alternates, if not included, are going to be a free download this year from what I have heard.
