You are right they did extend the warranty for 3 years. Mine just crapped out on me forcing me to get ncaa 08 for the xbox. Im sending my 360 in tomorrow and will have to wait 2 weeks for it to get fixed and returned

I clicked on this thread expecting to read some warm and fuzzy account of coming back from a midnight release and playing the game all night with some buddies or something. Guess I was a little off.

I think I could handle 30fps on my PS3 now after reading this story.... this really sounds like something that would happen to me if I had gone for the 360 elite instead of a PS3.

I really hope it is a powercord issue for your sanity's sake, I remember the year I couldn't play NCAA right away because my parents were remodelling their house and no tv was available.... long nights just starring at the box dreaming of what could be.....

BigTig my 360 crapped out on me on father's day and is still not back yet. I decided to just buy a new one and do whatever I see fit with the other one when it gets back. However, when I went to put in my PS3(yes I have the game on both systems, and yes I have a disease) MLB07 The Show would not eject, so now I have to exchange out that one, so I sort of feel your pain.

At least you got a copy of the game. I went the Gamestop at 11:30 thinking I could get the game and play. Thats not the case because they didn't open. Since I have to wait to get the game, I may as well get it from Circuit City and the $10 gift card that comes with it. Oh man, the anticipation is killing me.

I tried on the 5th when Walmart website was wrong, I tried at Target when they gave two different dates, I wen to Bottom Dollar.com when they had a list of stores stating you could get it on 11th...So I said I was going to wait until Monday at 11:59...I did wen to Walmart and watch little kids walk out with X-box, X-box 360 and ps2 version NOS PS3!!!!

Well my birthday is the 19th(35) so my wife went to Circuit City Monday and just for safe precautions and to my surprise grab the reserve card worth the game and 10 dollars

I feel ya man. Mine died last week after a game Madden 07. I knew it was only a matter of time b/c I got the 3ROD a few times before it finally kicked the bucket.
