I was doing this pretty much the way he explains it, but what I don't get about having to what for the pitch to complete is if you end the call before it completes and its positive it cancels out, but if you end when it is going badly before completion does that cancel out as well?

Re: recruiting tips from the producer..

I've started following my pitches through to completion, and I think I'm getting better results. My strategy is to hard sell one pitch each week if I'm the number 1 school. If I'm not, I'll try two, time permitting.

It really stinks trying to wait these pitches out though, because sometimes they'll eat up a bunch of clock and I can only get through my top 15 recruits or so. I think they need to give us more time each week, because with the current setup, it's almost impossible to give attention to 20 guys.

The producer says he really only focuses on around 7 players a week. He made it seem as though its not intended to let you call a lot of player each week.

I try to handle about 15 players a week. I'd only focus on 7 or so if I thought I could get good talent in the offseason, but this year's game seems to have all the best talent during the in-season recruiting whereas in the past it was pretty equal between in-season and offseason recruiting.

I try to call my top 5 guys or so making sure to leave time for my scouting guys (cpu) to call the rest.

Re: recruiting tips from the producer..

I feel like I'm starring in an infomercial. Here goes.

I'm using SMU and in two seasons I had never gotten an in-season signee. Now that I've started using the producer's recruiting method, I've gotten 7 (4 4* and 3 3*) in season signee's in one season! Thanks Mr. Producer

Me too. Every other year in my dynasty, I only have one home rivalry game and those are the only ones I ever get A scores from recruits. This season I am sending all my 5-star and top 4-star recruits to that game. I better not lose!
