Ok, time to start my REAL dynasty, who do I choose?

Ok, I'm almost done with Season 2 of my Auburn dynasty and, although I plan on continue with my Tigers, I think it's time I switched gears and decided to make a mark and "build up a program".

I'm looking for these traits....

1. A down and out program that has been a doormat for ages.
2. A school in an area with a solid recruiting base to try and get the talent level up.
3. A school in a major conference.

Some of the Schools I've thought about...

North Carolina- young team with some solid talent in areas...namely DT with Stud Frosh Marvin Austin, in a big time conference surrounded by good football talent in the Southeast.

Kentucky-again...a team that isn't loaded for bear, but does have very good skill talent to win now, in the SEC and located close to recruiting hot spots like Ohio and Illinois.

Ole Miss/Miss State- Both schools are so bad right now it would be a challenge with either. Solid recruiting base to draw from in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas.

Iowa State- team that has had "flashes" but never been consistent. Solid QB-WR combo, Big 12 member, but recruiting could be tough in the midwest.

Northwestern- Big 10 school, solid talent pool to draw from in Ohio, New York, etc. More than anything...I just really love their purple and black unis.

Thoughts? Any other schools that might be fun to try and build up?

I'm planning on doing a dynasty with one of these, then starting a final dynasty at a real bottom feeder, like a lower Mid Major conference team and work my way back to Auburn.

Memphis has some solid players, it could be fun seeing if the game will let you move them to the Big 12/Big East/SEC. They're not what I would call "down and out", but they were 4-8 last season.

I'm going to say Iowa St. You have a descent building block to start from. And I think they have Texas as a pipeline state! Kentucky would be cool too.

You might try Arizona State, Baylor, Indiana, Cincinnati, Duke, NC State, Stanford...

They meet all three of your standards I believe....

Northwestern. Thats who I'm using in a dual dynasty with my buddy, though they have some good talent. Don't think it would take you too long to build them up. I have them at 5***** prestige and we are just beginning year 3 of the dynasty.

I'm going to do the same thing to get the 1* to 6* achievement. Anybody working on that? I bet those teams are horrendous.

I've gotten FAU from a 1* to a 4* so far...still got 3 seasons or so to go to get them up to a 6*, though.

if u want a real challenge id say go with SMU.....u oculd probably get them into the Big 12 and the in-state rivalries are endless....not to mention Texas would be your recruiting base
