Help please

I've been lurking here a long time but I rarely post. I have a big problem. I'm still playing the game with my modified sliders but I can't seem to limit turnovers, specifically fumbles. I just played my third game in my third dynasty season and had a combined 9 turnovers. 6 fumbles. Does anyone have a solution for the turnover problem?

Honestly, there's a turnover issue, but more with INTs for me anyway. (I suck at passing, force lots of throws, so really its my fault. Occaisonally the CPU has insane INT games but it's more of my fault)

But occasionally fumbling is terrible. My only suggestion is for you to Cover Up judiciously unless it's simply 1 on 1 in the open field, then you can use the Highlight Stick. If your running up the middle though, I'd suggest covering up, but even then, it's not always guaranteed to be safe.

obvious answer would be to cover the ball, but that doesn't always work if they hit stick you, and the gang tackle animation also seems to cause alot of fumbles too. other than covering the ball, not using speed burst/juke/spin/highlight stick in traffic, the only thing you can try is adjust the sliders. try raising RB ability or lowering the tackling. when i run the ball i only speed burst if im alone past the defenders. when i run between the tackle once my RB gets it i cover the ball and hold it till i get tackled or break through the hole where i will let go and make a move if its 1v1 or use speed burst to get away.

my running strategy is not to score on every carry, but to average around 4-5 yards a carry, seems to help me alot, as im not trying to force more yardage.

Perhaps it depends on whether you play online or offline. I play purely Dynasty mode with INT and Aggressiveness slider on defense turned WAY down for both CPU and user. I also bump the Rb ability slider to 65 to help with the fumbles. But yeah, like these guys said.....cover up that ball hitting the hole. I don't experience excessive turnovers. But maybe online is a different beast altogether.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I play dynasty on the 360 and rarely have any fumbles. I've also "figured out" passing finally. My first dynasty season, my QB had about 25 TD's and 25 Int's. Now I think I only have 5-6 INT's and I'm almost done with my 3rd season, and 2-3 of those were in my first game of the season when I was still feeling out my new starter.

I keep everything at default except INT's at 0 and Knockdowns at 85.

I don't think there is a complete cure for either this year. Some turn off fatigue-I won't. I NEVER use the speed button unless it's a payday touchdown run.
One more thing you can try that I've done. Play your offense at Varisty level and defense at a higher level of your choice(of course adjust your sliders so you don't just kill everyone). For me,playing offense at lower levels reduces the turnover rate.
