Corner Routes (360)

Does anyone else think these routes are nearly impossible to complete?

The warping DBs and LBs plus the fact that the lob pass is pretty much worthless on the 360 make it pretty tough. If you execute the lob the receiver always catches the ball OB. If you try a normal pass it gets batted down or INT'd.

Re: Corner Routes (360)

The only way I was ever able to complete it was if I rolled with the receiver and they were playing a zone. I got the corner to commit to me and then threw a bullet to the receiver in front of the safety. It has only happened twice for me. If you stay in the pocket, forget it.

Re: Corner Routes (360)

yup. Fade routes and deep balls to stretch the D are hard to come by..mainly from bad ball trajectory and super human LBs and DBs.

HOPEFULLY....the 360 patch is right around the corner.

Got that right. I look forward to this game the most every year. It's fun to play, but the turnovers and passing game (lack of) make it really tough to enjoy.

Get the patch out NOW.

If you pump fake first, you can lob the ball. Unfortunately, you are usually on the ground first. A play action Pump Fake takes a LLLOOOONNG time.

I complete the corner to the tight end on occassion. But the trajectory does get you in trouble, unless you pump fake first.

Re: Corner Routes (360)

i can complete a post-corner route if i roll out to that WR's side. the only other way to complete corner route is to play on Freshman or varsity.

Yeah, that's about the only way I can complete the deep ball too.

Re: Corner Routes (360)

you guys also notice how easy it is for the cpu team to complete the corner pass on the other hand?

at least half of their completions against me are corner routes
