They played their weakest schedule in years. They usually play a top tier team, ala Texas. This year its USC. Florida will be a good team and they'll average 55 ppg in their 1st couple games like they always do, because they play bums, but when they match up with the other big SEC schools they'll lose about 3 games simply because they cant stop anybody. The lowly wolverines showed us that last year.
Shame for Ohio State is there in such a weak conference.

Yeh they beat Florida but the BCS selection commitee did them no favours by putting them against Hawaii.
Plus the Bulldogs lost by 3 TD's against Tennessee who didnt even wind up winning the SEC.
No doubt Georgia are gonna win a lot of games but I'm intrigued on how they play against a top 25.
I think they just got hot and made a good run just like USC did. But they have everybody coming back and USC doesnt. They play weird against weaker teams, they dont dominate like they should. Tennessee blew them away and South Carolina beat them. You shouldnt be losing to SC and expecting to be in the NC hunt.

Re: Which School Should Be #1?

I don't know who I'd put here. Probably

1- UF
2- UGA
3- Ohio
4- USC

I'll give FL the edge but it's basically a tie at the top. UF has the best player in the game plus a young group that has a year of experience under their belts.

I like Ohio St., always have, and I've usually thought they were worthy of being in the title game, except this past season. I think they are a great team, but they'll have to beat USC and go undefeated for me to think they should ever go back. I can see them getting there just as easily this season because they are really good. It's just that I want to be shown they can win it.

5 or 6 of those teams will be in the top 25....I love the SEC.
Thats why I think SEC has an edge in the BCS because of the tough in conference schedule.

If the SEC is as half competitive as last year then we could be in for quite a season.
But lets face the facts.
Georgia wont beat LSU on the road,
The Bulldogs could struggle against Auburn,
Arizona State UPSET ALERT!
