Good for you Auburn Alumni. I tried to thank EA in the Madden forum and got torn apart pretty bad...

It's good to see people are giving these games a chance and are not blinded by hate.

Re: Attention EA: Thank you!

I'm being pessimistic about this game. I don't want to get burned again so:

HATE! HATE! HATE! HATE! HATE!

But seriously, the game is gonna be what it is. I actually played NCAA '08 more than any other football game last year until my dynasty got erased. As long as it doesn't have any game killing bugs, I should put more time into this year. I do give them kudos for the online dynasty though. THAT is major.

And in no way did I praise gameplay in my original post. That is still to be determined but all the "little stuff" they are adding, plus one MAJOR addition (online dynasty) has already been shown to be included.

For that I am saying thanks.

Online dynasty is by far the biggest thing they did. (With injuries no less!)
I still remember you stating you won't be picking up any football games this year. We all had a good laugh about that.

As far as Online Dynasty it's not jumping the gun. Online Dynasty is huge IMO.
Yes it's yet to be seen if the AI will be up to snuff BUT the improvements I've seen so far have me excited. Will it be perfect? Of course not, but at least some improvements are evident.

Oh god another 1 of these threads, lol. The Madden 1 got demolished. I'm not thanking EA until I play the game, even then I probably still won't thank them for doing their job.

The difference there though is that, at least for me, I've only seen more promises and "feature lists" than anything else for Madden. I'll be one of the first to give EA credit for Madden, when I see the improvements.
You also have to remember NCAA for the most part has been vastly better than Madden so far on next..I mean current, gen. IMO of course.

For the illiterate folks on OS, or folks who proceed to only read the title of a thread before jumping in and demolishing it...I made a tiny little edit to my original post.
