EA Sports: NCAA 2009 Team Ratings

For the 10th time...

Auburn: 84 overall, 83 offense, 87 defense....F**K you EA ratings guys. WATCH a few games from time to time before you continuously give the royal screwjob to teams year in year out.

Edit: HOLY HELL!!!!! THEY CHANGED IT!!! AUBURN IS NOW AN 89 WITH A 92 ON DEFENSE!!!! WOO HOO!!!! Buuuut...it should still be higher. Best D in the SEC returning 8 starters...has to be a 96 or so. But it's a hell of a lot better than that 87 crap they had.

Hmmmmm....

Me thinks EA might have seen some of our posts on the Beta Team ratings...

1. Auburn was bumped significantly from an 84 overall to an 89 overall with a 5 point increase on D (well deserved).

2. Florida State dropped BIG TIME on offense to a 79 (also MUCH more accurate than that ridiculous 90+ rating).

3. South Carolina was brought down a tad....good.

4. Florida's RIDICULOUS 94 rating on defense was reduced to a much more realistic 88 rating.

There are more..but those jumped out at me.

I still feel Georgia and Ohio State are ludicrously rated. But overall...much better looking IMO from the Beta Team ratings Steve posted.

When did they change those ratings? I just checked it out this morning and Auburn was back at 84. In fact, Auburn is ranked #8 in the SEC. I added rank and conference to the spreadsheet for anyone interested. Which ratings these are I'm not sure of.

I'm obviously a huge Ole Miss fan, and they have our defense WAY overrated. They have us at 85. We have a good D-Line, but that's about it. We have two WR's that will be counted on to possibly be in the two-deep at CB. We couldn't stop anyone last year and that's the main reason we only won 3 games. Well, coaching wasn't the greatest either.

I think that's two years in a row EA has rated Ole Miss ahead of Auburn. Of course this depends on whether Auburn in an 84 or 89 right now.

I can always tell Auburn is way better talent-wise than Ole Miss each Dynasty when I play them. They have way better players, but I don't get these ratings. I'd say Ole Miss is a low 70 Defensive team. The line is good, but everything behind them is pretty weak. Nowhere near the overall talent Auburn has plus depth.

i just looked this morning and the ratings haven't changed for me so it looks like Auburn is stuck with an 84
