Its a tough venue to go in and win.
After 10 of the darkest years in Alabama's football history the fans are still packing the house, and support for the program is strong as ever. BTW check out Bama's recruiting if you are curious what the next 10 years might hold.

Of course I forget....Tubs is looking for character guys, yet he keeps targeting the same guys that Saban is signing! Boo Ya!!!!

Right....crowd noise had everything to do with those records.

Alabama is simply not one of the toughest 25 places to play. It's really that simple. I don't give a rats *** about crowd noise.

I think Auburn should be higher than #19. I went to the Arkansas game last year and Auburn is MUCH louder. I think we should be higher up, but whatever.
What do you guys think?
Wisconsin louder than Penn State and Ohio State. And we won when i went to Wisconsin and lost at PSU and OSU in close games. Although OSU seems really overwhelming and huge when you go. i was in the middle of the horseshoe behind the flag pole, just a sea of red, freakin' nuts!! PSU seems like a pro stadium but doesnt seem like 100,000 people are at the game, not very intimidating at all.

Notre Dame not that loud at all, more of a "tradition" kind of feel when you go (the seats are still wooden benches, it was kinda cool) but their student section was lame and too many old fans lol.

These are the only ones i can comment on since i've attended games at these places

In 01 Alabama beat the **** out of a ranked Auburn team at Jordan Hare. Hare isn't that tough.

The truth of the matter is that playing on the road in the SEC is tough. I believe that we can all agree on that.

Funny you say that. When we played Cincy in '06, one of the guys on their team was quoted saying Va Tech was louder than Ohio State (they played OSU the week before they played us)

I'll see if I can dig up the quote, but I doubt I'll be able to find it. VT has always been known for their field level volume. What game did you come to VT for?
