Is PS3 Roster Problem Linked With 2.40?

Hey guys,

To answer some questions:

- I am on FW 2.41
- I deleted every MP3 off my HD and it still froze up after editing in five players
- I even deleted the NCAA 09 game data file and that didn't help.

21SEC is using the same file I am/created. I initially thought it was a corrupt file, but I think there's something on my PS3 that doesn't play nicely with the roster file. However, considering I edited from Tuesday night through this morning with no problem (after the initial issue) that doesn't make sense either.

Kind of grasping at straws here, but did you try disconnecting your PS3 from your internet connection while editing? Being connected online caused a couple of freezes for me last year on the 360, and I have had some similar troubles with NBA 2k8 as well on the PS3.

Probably makes no difference, but it's something to try if you haven't already.

Whats odd is that he's been doing it since Tuesday, right? With no probs until today....weird....

I can't believe anyone else who has it on PS3 hasnt reported anything. I KNOW they've at least touched the roster editing feature...

I don't think you need to worry. I've had 2.40 since day one (before it was taken down) and have had zero problems and the same goes for 2.41. Plus, aren't your required to have the latest firmware to sign into the Playstation Network (I know it's required to access the PSN Store at least).
