OMT or the Future: Can you please tell us the story on sliders?

There seems to be a lot of confussion on the sliders. Can you please give us the low down? Is there a reason why they don't seem to be effective? Is it trun that CPU sliders have no impact on how the CPU plays? Same for penalties. I've played several games with the all penalties sent at 100 and I've yet to see a face mask or pass interference flag.
Thanks

With INTS at 0 I honestly only see 1 pick a game. It's usually a dropped pass that tips off of my receiver.

I had two face mask penalties called in one game today without touching the sliders.

Penalties are hit or miss.

Facemasks are triggered by only one animation.

Pass Interference needs a pretty blatant offense to register.

With sliders...

Just mess with the HUM sliders...they affect both...EA has admitted this.

Cross your fingers and hope they feel the need to patch it. As it stands right now, I wasted 60 dollars again, because I can't play the game like this.... Dynasty wise, anyway.

I would like to know what was the reason behind making the sliders ineffective. There is no reason to only see 3-4 penalties a game when the slider is maxed out.
