Should I buy a PS3 or XBOX 360 for NCAA 09?

All-

I have been "out of the game" for a few years and I am looking to buy a system for NCAA 2009, Madden 09 and Tiger Woods 09. I used to own and play both the ps2 and xbox versions of every madden and ncaa game offered on both platforms (I have been playing since the PS1 and Genesis days). Both controllers work for me so it is just a matter as which version is best as far as graphics, gameplay, responsiveness ect....

Are all EA games made on 360 and ported to PS3 still?

My question is which system should I get? I know both are running at 60 FPS so which version is better on 2009?

I will probably play sports games exclusively but have dabbled in the Metal gears, Gran Turismo's and Halo's in the past but my main thing is sports games.

No one has any recommendations? I don't want this to turn into a console war but I just want to know which version of NCAA 2009 is better, PS3 or XBOX....

They should be the same. If you like online play, the PS3 is cheaper but the 360 has more people playing.

Go with PS3 if you like baseball.

MLB The Show series is worth the purchase of the system a lone.

Consider saving yourself $60.00 and buying a used copy of NCAA '08. It seems to play a more challenging game, and the offline dynasty mode is almost identical to '09.

I've played both and I feel like 09 is better on xbox 360, have alot of respect for ps3, i like the exclusives such as msg4 and mlb 08 the show but i feel like 09 plays better on xbox 360. I think it looks better on xbox 360 also. I played both on 42'' 1080p full hd and walked away feeling that it looks and plays better on the xbox 360. That's just my personal opinion but either way your getting a great game despite the critics who don't put one ounce of work into making the game. EA sports keep doin the damn thing ya dig.

I haven't gotten the game yet (awaiting to see the reception following the patches), but I would agree with this poster's statement about MLB The Show. I'm not even a baseball fan really. I mean it's okay, but it's not a sport that I follow like football or basketball, but I really enjoy this game.

I grabbed a PS3 for The Show, and pretty ,much use it for all my games now. I was getting tired of the noise of the 360.
