Anyone ever block a kick?

i blocked 2 in one game once with ohio state, but i think it might have just been because the kicker aimed for a line drive kick, as they were both 50 yard attempts

I'm in the same boat as you bro. Only time I've ever blocked a punt was when the computer was backed up in their end zone, but that doesn't really count.

I used to block punts all the time on previous version by using the 3rd guy from the outside and jump the snap...it was all day.

FG's I got a few up the middle blocks on previous versions as well, none on ncaa 09, someone tackled my holder on a XP online tho.

I remember blocking kicks back in 05' it was pretty accurate to...Had 5 blocks roughly per year.

Ive played about 130 some game now (offline) and i block 1 FG and no Punts. I never really try to block punt unless they are backed up inside their 20. The one FG i blocked i also got a roughing the kicker penalty because after I dove to block the ball i slid into the kicker. I was mad.

I don't actually block the kick, I merely dive in front of it, and it hits an invisible wall above me. This is baffling to me, not because somehow the developers let this total breach of physics occur, it's that it's totally the opposite of another breach of the laws of physics I encounter where the football goes literally through my head, or torso and right to the AI's player right behind me

I blocked a punt for a TD against GT. I also tackled the punter before. I have nver blocked a FG, but the AI Michigan did it against me.

I have blocked a few, punts and field goals,,I have also had a punt blocked...It is based on the momentum and the situation (Punters experience etc..Also if you are on your own 3 yard line and you do not call the correct protection for the punt it will be blocked or your kicker will get creamed in the process...
