Question about patches after 360 bit the dust

My 360 got the red lights the other day and I just replaced it. I took the hard drive out of my old one and put it on the new one thinking it would have all my info including patches. It seems ever since I changed systems the cpu qb is completing everything and my dbs just seem to stand around during the plays. Do you think I need to start all over again with the new harddrive or is this just all in my head?
