No slider ability in Hum vs Hum games is wearing on me.

Human vs Human games are just flat out maddening.

Because the sliders go back to default in Hum vs Hum games, all of the Wide Open Gameplay goes right back in.

--Defenders falling for playaction every time, getting suction blocked
--QBs not having any effect whatsoever on their QB Accuracy when under pressure or throwing off their backfoot. You can have a DE hanging on the QB and he'll still a perfect pass everytime.
--Overly juiced Speed WRs that separate from every DB
--Still have super ridiculous QB option pitches occur, always magically on target.
--Super blocking
--WRs who always know where the ball is. If you do get to the QB quickly, and he still gets rid of the ball, the WR will automatically catch it, even if he is not even coming out of his route yet.
--Insanely powerful FG kickers who can hit 55-60 yard FGs with ease.

Most of the above you can fix or tweak to be somewhat tolerable with sliders.

But it won't let you use slider settings in HUM vs HUM games..even in an Online Dynasty.

So...99% of Hum vs Hum games become a contest of...

1. Who gets the ball last.
2. Who forces a punt or gets a turnover.

That's it.

If nothing else EA...allow us to utilize sliders in Hum vs Hum contests in 2010 because the fun is slowly being sucked out of the game when it's near impossible to have some defense.

This game is so badly skewed towards the O that it becomes College Football Blitz when facing another Human.

[extremerantstatement]Whoever came up with the idea of Wide Open Gameplay should be covered in honey and buried in an ant hill up to their neck.[extremerantstatement]

End of rant. (just felt like venting because my last several human games, even the games I won, because it just felt so ridiculous.)

This is how it's supposed to be. Wide-open gameplay, man.

^^Correction , it is that way it doesn't mean it should be. Both the o and d should be on a even playing field. I knew when I heard the wide open gameplay it was going to be trouble. If the core gameplay is good wide open gameplay will create itself.

AA, usually I agree with you. On this I don't know. I played a game agianst OSU in the BCS championship game. While I did lose on the last possession. It was an awesome game 20-17. We played out of our minds and the game was never a wild score fest. It might've had something to do with the fact that our secondaries can flat out fly down the field. Anyways you might be right but I've had pretty decent user games. Although I've only played 2 since patch 2 came out. Oh well my $0.02.

Edit: BTW I was Florida State.

The problem is that there are too many huge gaps in the field and you have too much time to throw the football. You can bring the kitchen sink against someone and they're still gonna have time.

Most NCAA vets can pick up what routes will usually be open against any defense. Very few times are all routes covered.
