Dynasty practice

Practice...we're talking about practice. Sorry, couldn't resist, lol.

Seriously though, I'm trying to figure out if the weekly practice option in dynasty has any effect on your players.

I recently noticed the option, but I haven't used it. I'm beginning a year where I could definitely use some ratings boost especially with some of my backups, mainly QB, and I'm wondering if the practice does anything for your players and team or if it's just there to work on your game?

If anybody knows one way or another, if you could share I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

has zero effect on helping or hurting your players progress if that is what you mean. its simply there so you can get the feel of your new players during the season which I think is a nice feature to have.

i tend to use this feature the most when i sign a new FG kicker to figure out what his range is.

Re: Dynasty practice

Can you pick your playbooks to practice with or do you have to use your team's default playbook?

it will use whatever offensive playbook you have set under coaching strategy, except New Mexico State's playbook, as it will default back to team default.

the defensive one will always be default no matter what you have it set to, as its broken.

a great use of practice is to test out new playbooks.

Another weekeness this year. I have found 4 or 5 nice balanced playbooks that actually allow you to run and pass the ball...(what a crazy idea!) the other 100 seem to be a 90/10 pass/run split...
