Heisman is too easy. Our solution!
I am in an online dynasty in our 3rd year in the ACC. All in the same conference. The problem is, Heisman is too easy. I have heard many complaints on this board and others about games against the CPU. Play enough, and you can smoke any team on Heisman. Frankly, once you get a couple of good recruiting classes in, it is not uncommon to see 50 and 60 point blowouts against other BCS conference teams. (It is definately easy to lose with a poor/SLOW team, though.)
Here is our solution to keeping the online dynasty fresh, and to keeping CPU games challenging and worth having.
1. When you win a national title, you are done at that school.
2. The other users of the OD get to select two teams for you to choose from. They may be as good or as bad as they want. Usually, bad. Horribly bad. The only stipulation is that there must be an equal prestige team in the conferences of these teams. (Exceptions can be made for independents, although Army and Navy usually go hand in hand.)
3. You select which of the two teams to move to.
4. As the NC winner, you also get to select one other online dynasty user to move to a team in your new conference. You may pick any team, of the same prestige or better than your new team. Remember due to stipulation in #2, there will be at least one comparable team available.
This leaves you two with terrible teams, left to duke it out for a spot in the toilet bowl, with your crappy CPU recruited one-legged players, while the teams left behind battle for the next NC (and the next move way down the ladder).
Rinse and repeat with every national title.
