Out of whack player stats at the end of the season?

Looking the stats at the end of the season for other teams I am noticing some pretty weird stats. Highly inflated qb stats(was aware of this one), sack leaders for teams with extremely low numbers of sacks and very low int numbers for team leaders. For example George Selvie leading South Florida in sacks with only 5 and team leaders in int's with one pick. I literally looked through several teams with no player being in double digits in sacks and the average being around 5 for team leaders with some as low as 3. Not that big of deal but still strange.

I am looking at the Lombardi list(best d-linemen) and there is literally one guy on the entire list with double digit sacks. Also looking at the leaders in tackles for linebackers the numbers seem very low.

It seems to me the sim numbers are heavily skewed in favor of the offense.

Edit: simmed a second season and to use George Selvie as an example again he had three sacks on the year and played in all the games.

That's different....All the LBs on my leader list are well over 100 tackles.

I was more annoyed than I had my QB throw for 4500 yards 45 TD's 7 INT's I set the record for QB rating with it at 207 and I didn't even finish in the top 5 in Heisman voting, Colt McCoy won it, and I had better stats....

What about the sacks? Are you noticing extremely low sack totals.

I just simmed a season using my rosters- The most sacks in the nation was 15 by handy at SMU. The only guys at 10 or higher from BCS conferences are Kuhn of NC State, Martin of VT and Tillman of Ole Miss. A total of 8 are 10+. Nine more at at 9. Seven of those nine were BCS guys. So i do think the sacks are low. Selvie only had 3 on this season i did.

I saw very low sack totals in my first dynasty I did. The nation's leader had 14.
