Re: Size - The forgotten element

I've seen this mentioned in some threads about recruiting and it bears repeating. There are too many 5'9 180 power backs, and I've come across a ton of DEs who are 5'11 240, or 6'1, 210. Sure, there are DEs that size, but the ones I see are usually 4 and 5 star recruits. That should not be the case.

I'd also like to echo some of what dkrause said about the power running game. I love power running, but with the OL/DL interaction, my run game is almost entirely limited to ISO plays because I can get between the C/OG, but not between the OG/OT. The wide open gameplay is nice if you run a wide open offense, but they're not helping out those of us who don't need to pass for 400 yards to win.
