How to Throw a Fade Pass?

How do I throw a fade pass to the corner of the end zone?

Normally I have the guy running a streak and tap the button to lob it while using the precision passing to angle it towards the corner of the endzone.

Re: How to Throw a Fade Pass?

Is there a way to call fade hot route? I notice sometimes when I call a streak hot route, my receiver takes a wide angle and sometimes not. Is one of them the fade?

The streak with the wide angle is supposed to be the fade route. It's hot route + right stick up I believe. I never throw them because it seems your receivers turn into idiots and don't like jumping for the ball. Plus lobbing passes is asking for an interception, especially by users.

Re: How to Throw a Fade Pass?

If its ps3 then press triangle then o or square for receiver then its the right analog stick up for fade. Once done throw it up hope you have a big tall receiver and just old triangle to catch

Cheers

You have to user catch fades for them to be successful.

not really. i never user catch. if i have a good and tall WR that can jump, he will catch it. if your playing against another user who switches to the DB when the ball is in the air(or was already controlling him), user catching will be the only way, but against the CPU(or if both user don't switch players while ball is in the air), you don't have to.
